AGL Training Award - March 2023

ATC has won the  2021 & 2023 – Best Airfield Lighting Training Company award for the 2nd year running from Aviation & Aerospace. The award criteria considered the new ATC online training courses and onsite training that is leading the way in ICAO’s Next Generation Aviation Professional Programme. A positive start to 2021.

Riga Airfield Lighting Training

Riga International Airport - November 2020

ATC has won the contract to supply AGL safety (AGL1) and AGL maintenance and compliance training to Riga International Airport in Latvia. We will be delivering a series of our ICAO NGAP (Next Generation Aviation Professional) training courses to the Airfield & Operations teams starting December 2020 and carrying on throughout 2021.

Manila Airports Authority - June 2020

On winning the tender ATC (Hanoi Office) worked closely with Manila Airports Authority to design a bespoke AGL2 maintenance & compliance training course in 2020. The ATC training course was adopted by the Philippines Aviation Authority as their required standard for any engineers working airside. Since our first training course in March 2020 we have delivered a further 3 training courses to local airside maintenance contractors.

In 2021 we will deliver further AGL2 Training and additionally AGL3 & AGL4 to senior airside management teams.

Best AGL Training Company Award - February 2020

Airfield Training Company won the ‘Best AGL Training Specialists 2020’ award hosted by Aviation & Aerospace – CV Magazine. The award was presented to ATC based on several criteria, innovation within the sector, client feedback and customer service. Since the award was published we have been nominated for 5 other Airside Awards in 2021, we expect to win!!

Kuwait Airfield Lighting Training

Kuwait Airport - January 2020

After many years of discussions in 2020 ATC secured it’s first contract with Kuwait International Airport to supply our AGL2 – ICAO Maintenance & Compliance Training Course. We delivered our first training in Kuwait in January 2020 and have since helped the airport in supplying a range of our NGAP Courses to their airside engineering maintenance contractors, mainly AGL1 – Airside Electrical Safety.

In 2021 and 2022 ATC have been contracted to deliver a further 3 NGAP Training sessions in Kuwait.

Hong Kong Airports Authority - December 2019

Since 2016 ATC has been delivering it’s NGAP Training Courses to Hong Kong Airports Authority. By 2020 we had completed six training courses with Hong Kong Airport, AGL1, AGL2, AGL4. Our training courses had been specifically adapted to meet the clients needs including extended training on the safegate LMS (individual lamp control and monitoring systems) and AGL1 adapted to meet the first responder team.

In December 2019 we engaged in the full roll out of the ATC Training Programme to cover all airside personnel. We continue to provide these services, refresher training and any electrical airside AGL courses.

Bristol Airport - July 2019

In July 2019 ATC completed its 8th AGL2 – Maintenance & Compliance Training course for Bristol International Airport (UK). ATC won the competitive tender process in January 2019 and started its first onsite training in February 2019. ATC has been contracted to further deliver ‘AGL Refresher’ training within 3 years.

In July 2019 ATC launched it’s Online Training Courses designed specifically to support Airport Engineering Teams working on tight shift patterns and further enhance our customer support facilities.

Jamaican Airports Authority - March 2019

In March 2019 ATC delivered two AGL2 Training Courses for the Jamaican Airports Authority at Norman Manley International Airport Training HQ. In addition to training JAA airfield engineers the training was attended by engineering teams from around the West Indies including the Cayman Islands, St Kitts & Nevis, Virgin Islands, Grenada, Barbados and St Lucia.

32 Engineers were trained by ATC over a 3 week period. Since April 2019 ATC has setup a dedicated online customer portal for Jamaican Airports Authority that allows us to monitor the progress of the engineering teams engaged in the NGAP programme.

Kenyan Airports Authority - January 2019

ATC has delivered over 10 training courses in Africa since 2016. In January 2019 we stated on an ambitious training programme with Kenyan Airports Authority to deliver AGL1 – Airside Electrical Training and AGL2 Maintenance & Compliance Training to all the airports across Kenya. We provided both on onsite and online solutions package to meet the customers exact needs starting firstly at Kenyan Airports Authority Training Centre in Nairobi.

Since January 2019 further online training support has been delivered to over 40 engineers.
